How to check your vote in Pakistan?
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), in conjunction with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), has introduced an SMS service for eligible voters to check their registration status and polling station information. Eligible voters can check their vote by emailing their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number (without the dash) to 8300. Each voter in each Pakistani province, including Punjab, Sindh, KPK, and Baluchistan, can check their voter registration status via SMS. The response message will include their name and election district. The notification includes the voter registration serial number from the first electoral rolls.
There are two ways to obtain this data:
a) The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), in partnership with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), offers the public an SMS service to verify their registration status. The public can obtain the information by sending a text message to 8300 with their CNIC number. In this regard, an automated answer containing the name of the electoral district, the block code, and the serial number will be received.
b) Each voter can verify their information by visiting the office of the District Election Commissioner, where the final electoral roll is available.
